A SAD MOMENT FOR LEVALLON KENNEL'S 04/2010 |

Nous avons reçue hier un bien triste message que Ch.Levallon Grésille Chérie (Chérie) est décédé hier soir le 7 avril 2010. Chérie était la soeur de Spike et une belle championne, elle a partagé sa vie avec le chenil Levallon et le chenil Des Cèdres pour finir en beauté avec sa nouvelle famille la famille de Monsieur Jacques Sigouin et les enfants. Merci, pour vos bons soins et votre amour pour Chérie et sachez que nous apprécions. Chérie a été très spéciale pour le chenil Levallon . Elle est née dans la crise du verglas et avec les bons soins de tous elle a survécu douze ans! Merci.
We received a sad message last night that Ch.Levallon Grésille Chérie died at the respectable age of 12 years old. We at Levallon are very sad because Chérie was one of those precious one. She was born in the memorable ice storm and it was a nightmare just trying to give them a chance to live. Chérie took her chance and became a champion and a super companion. She share her life at Levallon kennel to go on to Les Cèdres Kennel and become a true champion and at last she give her love to Mr Jacques Sigouin family and the kids they where best Friend . She died in peace with her family.

Mon expérience acquise en tant qu’éleveur de chiens de race a débuté en 1979. I started breeding collies in 1979 under the prefix of Levallon. Je suis éleveur de chiens collies sous le nom du chenil Levallon. J’ai consacré une bonne partie de ma vie à étudier le domaine canin et à transmettre mes connaissances. Je suis éleveur Maître Cynologue professionnel, mon diplôme a été émis à l'hôpital vétérinaire de St -Hyacinthe. J’ai aussi obtenu mon diplôme de (Professional Pet Groomer Career Diploma)le 25 octobre 1996. J’ai écrit une rubrique mensuelle pour un journal local, durant plusieurs années afin d’informer la population en général du monde canin. J’ai été propriétaire du domaine canin Mont – Valois à temps plein de 1995 à 2001, un chenil de pension pour chiens et chats, toilettage, garderie de jour, soins particuliers pour convalescence. Tout en continuant bien évidemment mon élevage de chien de race Collies. J’ai servi de mentor pour plusieurs éleveurs d’aujourd'hui, et cela, dans différentes races. Tout en produisant plusieurs champions collies qui ont su bien représenter notre chenil.
Aujourd’hui plusieurs lignées, ont comme ancêtre de leurs chiens la lignée du chenil Levallon, souvent aussi loin que six, sept ou huit générations et cela dans différents pays. L’amour des chiens a toujours été présent en moi.
We have a small hobby kennel with self imposed limits on number of dogs and litters( whe now live in town). We breed a litter once every three or four years. We breed only for quality. We have learned that more is not better. We successfully competed in shows and our collies have been walking away regulary with the top honors. We are happy to produce some exceptionally dogs that enhance some kennel or become cherished their family. I am graduated and earn a master cynologue certification in dog breeding and have earn my groomer master degree ! I have judge sanction match, fun match and sweepstake and really enjoy being around collies breeder's.

A copy of the bitch’s eye check is also required, as is a certificate of the bitch’s current vaccinations. LEVALLON require a $200. deposit at the time of breeding. The rest of the fee is payable upon the birth of the litter and must be paid in full before any litter registration is signed.
If there are less than 2 pups born, a repeat breeding will be done at no extra charge to the same male and female.

• Smooth Reserve Winners Male/ Best Puppy : Graceway’s Who’s The Boss , good size sable male puppy. He showed well with that puppy bounce with lots of energy. I liked his size, expression and already nicely developed head piece with length. He had good balance; nice neck and nice topline, and I suspect in a month or two will be a hard one to beat.
